Cultivating quality

Situated at the foot of the Cévennes national park, 5 kilometres from Anduze and it’s famous ceramics, the Tornac winery was founded in 1924 and includes 400 hectares of vineyards. With a production of around 2,300,000 litres each year, it is considered a medium size winery. The soil of the Tornac region consists of a mixture of clay and limestone, marl and stones, making it particularly adapted to grow vineyards.

For over 30 years the Vignerons de TORNAC have decided to sell their wines independently through their shop, building a faithful local customer base (restaurants, local shops,...). Our winery was one of the first to operate in this way and we are always looking for innovative and dynamic ways of doing business. Being close to our customers has helped us to continually improve and create quality products.

The careful selection of our grape varieties as well as the advancement in oenological techniques, have been essential ingredients in reaching this goal.

Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and Cabernet make up our range of reds and rosés, while our white wines come from Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Vermentino.

We decided to think long term, adopting organic practices in order to preserve and protect the environment.

Because we love this beautiful region, we focus all our energy into making quality wine, while looking
